The focus of the course is to develop and enrich the 21stcentury skills among the students and to learn to become logical and to develop the ability to carefully examine facts, interpret data, making sense of that information, sharing and using it in apt ways. Students will be debating ideas, exploring various events working as a team and welcome different perspectives. The focus of the course is to develop and enrich 21st century skills listed in 3 broad categories: Foundational Literacies, Competencies and Character Qualities among the students and to learn to become logical and to develop the ability to carefully examine facts, interpret data, making sense of that information, sharing and using it in apt ways. Students will be debating ideas, exploring various events, working as a team and welcome different perspectives. Special care is taken while drafting this module to boost students’ curiosity and creativity with practical storytelling techniques. You will also be guided to be open-minded, evaluate ideas without prejudice, be impartial and inclusive.

    Foundational Literacies

    Foundational Literacies means How students apply core skills to everyday tasks and this includes Literacy, Numeracy, Scientific literacy, ICT literacy, Financial literacy, Cultural and civic literacy.

    Competencies

    Competencies mean How students approach complex challenges and this includes,Critical thinking/ problem-solving, Creativity, Communication, Collaboration.

    Character Qualities

    Character Qualities means How students approach their changing environment, and it includes Curiosity, Initiative, Persistence, Adaptability, Leadership, Social and cultural awareness.
